Contact Congress!
It’s true, if we don’t participate, we get the government we deserve. And boy did we get hosed. Voting isn’t enough. Contacting your representatives every day, week, or issue is the most important thing you can do.
Not sure who your congress people are? No problem, it’s never been easier to find out. You can call the U.S. Capital switchboard at 202-224-3121. They can connect you with your congress person.
Or use the web sites below.
Senate: http://www.senate.gov
House of Representatives: http://www.house.gov
It doesn’t matter if you voted for the person or not, they are your representative. And remember, be polite. Harder to do than one might think, I know.
