Obama campaign is in town and is looking for volunteers

February 18th, 2008

Since Hillary only worries about “significant states”, I thought I’d throw a little love to Obama. Hillary is up in the latest polls in Ohio. In fact, she was up in every poll until Iowa, then something happened. Iowans voted for change. Change from the status-quo. She won New Hampshire, but by only 2 points, after leading by double digits. Since then Obama has been on a roll.

Well, looks like Ohio is “significant”, and the Obama campaign is in town and looking for volunteers. His office is located in Van Aken Plaza near Fresh Market and today they start canvassing at 2PM.

Yes we can!

Update from Weezie:

Today I went over to the Shaker/Van Aken office. It is in the old Lisa Moran space. They were organizing canvassers. Molly said that tonight she will be organizing a phone banking network where we can all call from home. If you are interested in being included in that effort let her know molly.mcgrane@gmail.com . I did not ask about a set amount of calls but usually the way this is handled is that the coordinators are happy for ANY calls made.
